There was another Disney Skyliner related incident at Walt Disney World on Thursday evening. Two of the Disney Skyliner style ride vehicles crashed into each other at the Disney’s Hollywood Studios Skyliner Station. This is the second accident of its kind at the Walt Disney World Resort, the first being in 2019 not long after the launch of the newest form of Walt Disney World transportation.

A representative for Disney said that no one was injured in the incident, but the Disney Skyliner did experience a couple hours of downtime. No information on what happened, why or how it will be prevented in the future was provided.

Unfortunately, some guests found themselves stuck suspended between Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Caribbean Beach for more than an hour before being offloaded. Even so, the time between the crash and the Disney Skyliner becoming operational again was only around 2 hours; a major improvement compared to the original incident.
