The past couple of years have been filled to the brim with changes and adjustments made to the Walt Disney World theme parks. Among a long list of other things, this has meant changes to the way we visit the parks and the special hark ticket events hosted each year. However, we’ve just got word that something spooky is brewing at the Walt Disney World Resort for the Halloween season and we’re excited to share it with you.

This year, the Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will be returning to Magic Kingdom! This “frightfully fun event” was replaced in past years with a smaller event, but is finally returning to Magic Kingdom on select nights August 12 through October 31st. The event will include the Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular fireworks show, Hocus Pocus Villain Spectacular castle stage show, Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade and much much more! Guests will also be able to trick-or-treat throughout the park, dress as their favorite characters, show off their costumes to their favorite Disney pals and enjoy all the other event-only offerings throughout the park.

Tickets go on sale for guests staying at select Walt Disney World Resort hotels on May 12th. Unfortunately, there is no clarification as to what that means and/or what Walt Disney World Resort hotels qualify to buy tickets on that date. All other guests can purchase tickets on May 18th.

Thinking about attending? The event will take place on the following dates:

  • August: 12, 16, 19, 23, 26, 30

  • September: 2, 5, 9, 11, 13, 16, 18, 20, 23, 25, 27, 29, 30

  • October: 2, 4, 6, 7, 10, 11, 13, 14, 16, 18, 20, 21, 23, 25, 27, 28, 30, 31

Tickets for this event will range from $109 to $199 per person depending on the night. As has been the case during past events, the closer to Halloween you’d like to attend the more you’re likely to pay.

We anticipate that these events are going to sell out FAST, so be sure to mark your calendar and plan accordingly. Also, be sure to stay tuned right here for more information about the event in the future!
