Welcome Foolish Mortals

We are Kathryn and Russell, the happy haunts that make up 2 Foolish Mortals. Before we get started here, we want to take a second to thank you for joining us here today. It’s good to see you! This is a place where we like to discuss all things Disney, travel and help you make your next trip to Walt Disney World the best it can be! 

So. . . who exactly are we? 

We are a husband and wife team who enjoy lots of the same things [except Kung Fu movies. . . that’s all Russ], especially all things Disney. The both of us are from Massachusetts, where we were both born and raised. In fact, we’re both from the same square mile. . . . which is how we met in the first place. After years of being friends, our friendship evolved into a relationship and we tied the knot in 2006. 

Our first 10 years together as a married couple were spent in Japan, where we lived and explored everything the country had to offer. This is also where Kathryn started her journey as a travel writer and video blogger. Focusing on life, moving to Japan, exploring your local area and even Tokyo Disneyland. [You didn’t think we’d be able to resist. . . did you!?] 

Eventually, it was time for another adventure. That’s when we decided to pack our bags, along with the 2 Fuzzy Mortals [aka our 2 dogs], and move to Minnesota where we currently reside. 

When 2020 rolled around, like so many others, we made a decision to do something both of us had been thinking about for some time; start a website about Disney, travel and vacation planning. Just like that 2 Foolish Mortals was born! 

There are a lot of goals that we have in mind when it comes to 2 Foolish Mortals and we hope to share them with you as we continue on this journey. Who knows, maybe we’ll even achieve a few together! Until then, we’re glad that you’ve materialized here and we hope that you find everything we do [or at least some of it] useful and entertaining!
