New nuiMOs “Everyday Cosplay Collection” Debuts Today!

It wasn’t too long ago that I shared some of my thoughts with you about Disney’s newest thing; nuiMOs. The posable microplush toy features a collection of Disney pals [Minnie, Mickey, Donald, Daisy, Stitch and Angel] all coming in at $17.99 each. The nuiMOs collection also has a wide range of outfits to mix and match to keep your new friends on the forefront of fashion, each outfit coming in at an average of $12.99 each.

When I saw the nuiMOs during my last trip to one of my local Disney Store locations, I was completely sucked in. Sure, the outfits themselves are cute. . . the faces though. . . . they are just too much. I had to have one! Of course, I couldn’t not get them a friends. . . . which is how I ended up with Mickey and Minnie.

My obsession with my two little desk companions aside, the fun doesn’t end with the initial release of the plushies and their wardrobe full of clothes. In fact, as the helpful cast member at the Disney Store informed me, the first Monday of every month will mark the release of new collections and even new friends! [Here’s hoping for Goofy!] Which, as it turns out, is why I’m excited today.

Because it’s the first Monday in February, nuiMOs near and far are getting ready to expand their collection of very tiny clothes. This month, as has been teased on shopDisney.com since the middle of January, we’re looking forward to the “Everyday Cosplay Collection”. This collection seems to be very much in the spirit of disneybounding [a fashion trend where Disney enthusiasts dress in color schemes and patterns that resemble their favorite characters]. Though it’s hard to say what exactly will be on the shelves when Disney Stores around the country open today, it looks like we’ll be seeing outfits that resemble Alice from Alice in Wonderland, the Cheshire Cat and even Oogie Boogie!

I’ll be keeping an eye out on shopDisney and hopefully visiting another Disney Store soon to take a closer look!
