A Taste Of Epcot's Flower & Garden Festival | 2021

It’s that time of year again! It might still be a winter wonderland in your neck of the woods, but spring is about to arrive at Walt Disney World as they kick off Taste of EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival 2021! Starting March 3rd and running through the 5th of July, Taste of EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival will be an opportunity for guests to enjoy beautiful flowers, delicious food and even live entertainment.

With “flower & garden” right in the title, you can expect to see lots of beautiful gardens and topiaries around both Future World and World Showcase in EPCOT. The long list of topiaries include some fan favorites such as Buzz Lightyear, Donald Duck, Mickey, Minnie and Figment . . . just to name a few. There are also gardens that you can enjoy throughout EPCOT including the NEW! Prehistoric Garden at Future World East where you’ll have the opportunity to imagine what life was like 65 million years ago exploring plant life that has thrived since the age of the dinosaurs. If you’re a fan of live entertainment, you won’t be disappointed with the selection of performances that will happen throughout the duration of the festival. Performances by the Jammin’ Gardeners, Voices of LIberty, Mariachi Cobre, EPIC!, Motown In Motion, Village Vinyl Band, The Hooligans, The Spazmatics and Latin Ambition will be happening throughout the park on select dates during the festival.

Of course, it wouldn’t be an EPCOT festival is we didn’t talk about food and WOW are there some interesting and delicious offerings coming to Taste of EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival! Whether you’re wanting to explore cuisine from around the world, try something new or experience old favorites, it looks like this is going to be another great festival for people who enjoy chowing down!

Some of the items that stand out to me, while scrolling through the offerings on the Disney World website, are the Potato Pancake with Caramelized Ham, Onions and Herb Sour Cream over at Bauernmarkt: Farmer’s Market in Germany. I’m also really drawn to the Avocado Toast with Marinated Toybox Tomatoes and Fresh Goat Cheese on Toasted Ciabatta at EPCOT Sunshine Griddle in Future World East. Though, if I’m being honest, it doesn’t sound like a very impressive dish. It’s so beautiful with the edible flowers though! I could go on and on talking about all of the delicious looking and sounding menu items at the various booths around EPCOT, but I’m quite frankly making my self very hungry. . . . . so we’ll leave it at that!

As is so often the case with these EPCOT festivals, it looks like there will be so much to eat and drink that it will be nearly impossible to try it all. Not that it would stop me from giving it a go! Again, the festival kicks off March 3rd and runs through the 5th of July, so be sure to check it out if you’re at Walt Disney World and let us know what you tried!
