NuiMOs Are Here!
Disney has done it again!
They have come up with a cute, fun and collectible thing that we can’t wait to get our hands on. Ladies and Gentlemen, nuiMOs!
NuiMOs are small plush toys that are made so that they can stand on their own and be positioned into fun poses. That’s a fun enough concept on its own, but it doesn’t stop there. You can purchase outfits for your nuiMOs. These outfits are all about fashion, function and the places you’ll take your nuiMOs. From a leather jacket to spirit jerseys, you can dress up your Disney pals for any occasion.
You can see the entire collection of nuiMOs on shopDisney, but we happened to be at Mall of America today, so we got a chance to see them in person.
The selection of nuiMOs at the Disney Store in Mall of America currently consists of Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Stitch and Angel. They also have a good selection of outfits and accessories [even Loungefly backpacks] to choose from, but some items are currently not available in store.
Getting the chance to see these nuiMOs in person. . . . well it has us falling in love with them. It's as simple as that. Now, if we are being honest, the price point can be a bit high. At $17.99 each, there can be a bit of sticker shock. However, the more we think about it, the more we realize that the price really isn’t that bad. Because these are posable they are more of an action figure than a plush and the size makes them easier to take around than a full size plush. [We think this makes them a great choice for those who want a small plush in the parks.]
Outfits and accessories for nuiMOs vary in price, but $12.99 seems to be the average. Of course, some items [like spirit jerseys] are a bit more expensive.
According to the very friendly staff that helped us during our visit, nuiMOs will have new outfits and friends coming out the first Monday of every month. Though we already love the current selection, we can’t wait to see who joins the party next! We are both hoping to see Goofy next! Looks like we will have to keep checking back!
