Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort | Overview & Review

Welcome to Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, a delightful tropical oasis nestled within the Walt Disney World Resort. As one of the Moderate resorts, it strikes a perfect balance between affordability and luxury, providing guests with an unforgettable vacation experience. In this review, we'll explore everything the resort has to offer and why we think it’s a great option for your next Disney vacation.

A Tropical Paradise at a Moderate Price:

Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort offers a plethora of features that make it an enticing choice for guests seeking an enhanced stay at Walt Disney World without breaking the bank. Surprisingly, the resort encompasses many qualities typically found in Disney Deluxe Resorts. For instance, it boasts a delightful table-service dining location and two Disney Skyliner stations, offering seamless access to Hollywood Studios, EPCOT, and other resorts in the area. Additionally, the resort provides an amenity you won’t find at Value and Moderate resorts—beach access, something you’ll find mostly at Disney Deluxe properties. Furthermore, being within walking distance of Disney's Riviera Resort, guests can easily expand their dining options without venturing too far.

Exploring the Resort's Vastness:

Spanning a vast area, Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort offers both advantages and considerations for guests, depending on their preferences. Those who enjoy leisurely strolls and appreciate tranquil corners for relaxation will find the resort a true delight. However, guests who prefer quick access to the lobby via nothing more than an elevator might find the size of the resort inconvenient. Nevertheless, the resort provides several options to navigate its expanse, including an internal bus system and the Disney Skyliner, thanks to its two stations. Moreover, the presence of multiple dining locations throughout the resort ensures that grabbing a bite to eat or enjoying a refreshing drink is always within reach.

Rooms with a Tropical Flair:

The theming of Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort extends seamlessly into its rooms, enveloping guests in a tropical ambiance reminiscent of Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, but at a more affordable price point. Natural textures and jewel tones create a serene atmosphere, providing a tranquil retreat after a long day at the parks. While some rooms may offer more space, the accommodations at this resort still provide ample storage and freedom of movement. This is particularly impressive, considering that our room did not feature a Murphy bed, which would have provided additional space during the day. However, it's worth noting that the bathroom, while not the smallest, felt somewhat cramped. Apart from this minor inconvenience, the rooms were clean and comfortable. However, due to its proximity to the Disney Skyliner and an air conditioning unit in the room, there was some ambient noise. Additionally, the resort's close proximity to EPCOT meant we could hear the vibrant sounds of the fireworks at night, adding a touch of magic to our stay.

Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort emerges as an excellent choice, offering a remarkable experience at an affordable price. With its myriad of amenities, great theming, and convenient location, it provides guests with the best of both worlds. Whether you're a seasoned traveler or a first-time visitor, this resort promises an enchanting tropical getaway within the enchanting confines of Walt Disney World.
