Exclusive Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser Outfits On shopDisney

We’re just a few short weeks away from the official launch of the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser and we’re starting to see some fun merchandise pop up on shopDisney! Available now on the website, Guests can purchase a line of exclusive outfits to wear when they set out on their voyage through the universe.
Currently, the selection of outfits available on shopDisney includes a little something for everyone. You’ll see that some of the outfits available feature familiar styles, such as the Princess Leia Dress, and others are more generic. However, all of the styles are clearly reminiscent of what we’ve seen in the various Star Wars films and television shows.
Pricing for the outfits range from around $50 to $150, which is in line with what you might expect to pay for similar type outfits at Walt Disney World or even elsewhere. While we know that this price point isn’t going to be ideal for everyone, we do think that it’s fair and reasonable. Of course, the quality of the items will also play a factor. So we’ll have to wait and see before sharing our final thoughts on that.
We’re also very pleased to see that the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser exclusive merchandise is available only to guests with a qualifying Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser reservation. According to shopDisney:
Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser merchandise is available for purchase exclusively to Guests with a qualifying Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser reservation. Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser Guests will be eligible to purchase select merchandise on shopDisney.com up to 60 days prior to their reservation check-in date and up to 30 days after their check-out date. In order to purchase, the email address used to sign into shopDisney must also be linked to your Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser reservation.
This should mean that only Guests staying on the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser have the ability to buy this merchandise from shopDisney and therefore we shouldn’t see these items completely swept off the shelves by scalpers. Of course, we’ll have to wait and see what happens.
Overall, we’re thrilled that Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser merchandise is being released and that it includes awesome outfits that can be worn during the experience. From the very beginning, we’ve been talking about the possibility of this happening so that guests can really immerse themselves in the experience and now, only a few weeks before the first launch, we’re seeing that this is actually happening!
