New Extended Evening Hours For Some Guests

Earlier this year Walt Disney World announced that they’d be doing away with Extra Magic Hours, a program that allowed guests staying at Walt Disney World Resort hotels to enjoy extended hours in the parks. However, as we approach Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary, more perks have been announced. We recently learned that guests staying at Walt Disney World Resort hotels and some select hotels will be allowed early entry to every park every day starting October 1st, but the extended hours don’t stop there. Disney also announced that select guests will have access to extended evening hours at the parks on select nights.

Starting October 1st 2021, guests staying at Disney Deluxe or Deluxe Villa Resort hotels will have the ability to enjoy extended evening hours at select parks on select nights. Scheduling for these select dates and times have yet to be announced, but information will be shared at a later date. Guests will not only need to be staying Deluxe, but they’ll also need valid ticket or pass and a theme park reservation for the same park on the same day to experience extended evening hours. [It’s unclear if this allows guests to park hop to parks with extended hours. This seems a bit confusing in the original post, but we’ll be sure to clarify as soon as we know more.]

Though we are not sure exactly what this will look like, we anticipate it will be similar to Extra Magic Hours in some ways. Of course, we’ll be sure to keep you in the loop and tell you what we know as soon as we know it.
