Guests Struggle To Book Tickets For Upcoming Boo Bash

Tickets for Disney After Hours BOO Bash went on sale today, but getting them has proven to be quite the challenge for guests looking to secure their spot at the event. Many anticipated that tickets for this event would go on sale first thing in the morning, likely some time around 7AM eastern, for guests who have Walt Disney World Resort hotel reservations. However, when the time to book rolled around, things didn’t quite go according to plan.

Guests calling into Walt Disney World seemed to run into the same issues, regardless which number they used. Lines were busy and when they finally could get through, wait times were astronomical. This left some guests unable to get through at all, despite their many attempts, let alone buy tickets. Others who finally did get through found some dates had already been fully booked. There were even a few guests sharing their experience on social media today of Cast Members informing them, when they did get through, that tickets hadn’t been loaded into the system yet. Understandably, this has caused quite a bit of confusion and frustration for guests who were excited and eager to get their BOO Bash tickets.

Even as we approach the middle of the day, there still seems to be quite a few challenges guests are facing while trying to book tickets for Disney After Hours BOO Bash. Of course, this is to be expected with the problems that have arisen thus far and the call volume that comes along with it. . . . nevermind this being the first After Hours event in over a year. Though we’d hope that a company like Disney, who sells tickets to events like this all the time, would have the kinks worked out, I suppose you never really know.

Whether or not this will be worked out in the coming days so that ticket sales will be smoother in the coming days is yet to be seen. Of course, we’ll be sure to let you know of any updates as they become available.
