Interval International Taking Over For RCI | Disney Vacation Club

Disney Vacation Club announced today that there will be a new exchange provider coming in 2022. Disney Vacation Club Members were informed via email this afternoon that Interval International will be taking over for RCI effective January 1, 2022. The email goes on to say that Interval International will offer members “a broad range of resort experiences, providing flexible and diverse opportunities in amazing locations across Europe, Asia, South America, Australia, as well as destinations closer to home including the United States, Mexico and the Caribbean.”

While this is a change, there are policies in place that will help Disney Vacation Club Members who have already booked through RCI or intend to between now and January 1, 2022 do so. Disney Vacation Club Members can continue to book nightly and weekly exchanges as they have been through the current program through the end of 2021. To that point, Disney Vacation Club Members who have confirmed reservations or points that have been deposited to RCI will have the reservations and/or points honored through 2023.
