Just A Bunch Of Hocus Pocus At shopDisney
Halloween is right around the corner, at least according to shopDisney and other retailers, which means that fun merchandise has started to hit the shelves. From costumes to home decor, you can find just about anything your spooky side might desire this haunted halloween season. Of course, shopDisney has released a line of Halloween merchandise again this year and the main focus [at least thus far] seems to be the 3 sisters who have a desire to. . . . suck the lives out of all the children in Salem [and possibly the rest of the world]; the Sanderson Sisters.
Though the film wasn't a success when it released in 1993, Hocus Pocus has gained quite a bit of popularity over the years. In fact, it's become so popular that Walt DIsney World even features the Sanderson Sisters in a stage show during the Halloween season. Of course, where there's fandom there's merch. . . . which is exactly what we're going to talk about today.
Now, before we get started it's important to say that this is just the first round of Halloween merchandise that Walt Disney World [or more specifically Disney Parks] has released. In fact, some if only available via pre-order at the moment. However, thus far we've got a lot of fun things to choose from. . . . so let's talk about some of our favorites.

First up on the list we have a Hocus Pocus Spirit Jersey. At this point, it seems only natural that Disney would release a Spirit Jersey featuring the Sanderson Sisters, because they release one every opportunity that they get. This particular Hocus Pocus Spirit Jersey features the Sanderson Sisters on their brooms. . . . mop and vacuum flying over Salem. The design also features a "death's head" on the bottom, which is iconography that you could find on seventeenth-century grave markers in the Boston area. Not that into Spirit Jerseys? Fortunately, shopDisney has a few other options for you to choose from. There's a long sleeve t-shirt that's actually reversible and even a tie front collared shirt for woman by Her Universe. Though the style of each shirt is different, they all feature the same image of the Sanderson Sisters riding their cleaning equipment over Salem.
Next up on the list we have Hocus Pocus Crocs. Now, I'm not a fan of Crocs in any form. . . . they just aren't for me. . . . but I can't deny that these are a pretty fun set! These orange purple and black Crocs are not only sparkley, they also have some fun jibbitz on them. The one jibbit that stands out to me on these Crocs says "Gather Round Sisters" and has the hair of each Sanderson Sister. What can I say? It's cute! I think that these would be a great item for the holiday season or any time, especially if you're spending a lot of time on you're a fan of Crocs.

Last we have to talk about the Loungefly that was released as part of this Hocus Pocus collection. This mini backpack is black, purple and features an all over design of cats, candles, tarot cards, skulls and books. To be honest, as much as we like Loungefly mini backpacks, this is not our favorite. When we first saw it, the design looked like it might be for the Haunted Mansion and doesn't have anything that makes you think "oh yeah. . . Hocus Pocus". Though I wouldn't turn down a mini backpack with spooky vibes, I think they could have certainly done better with this one. What do you think though? We'd love to know your thoughts.
Of course, there are lots of other fun Hocus Pocus items to choose from at shopDisney to include Sanderson Sister plush toys and even a mystery pin pack. Prices vary and whether or not the items are available now or for pre-order does as well. There’s also likely to be other fun Halloween merchandise that gets released as we move into fall and closer to October 31st, so be sure to keep checking back!
