New MagicMobile Pass Designs

After the release of MagicMobile, which allows users to use their smartphones and/or watches rather than a MagicBand or physical ticket, guests who have chosen to use the services noticed a few fun features. This included the ability to pick the design on your visitual pass. Guests could choose from a variety to include Food Favorites and designs specific to each of the 4 theme parks. However, the list of fun designs has recently expanded.

Now, select guests can also choose from 2 additional designs. These designs are available for Annual Passholders and feature 2 familiar faces. The first is Figment, the imaginative purple dragon that most of us know from the Imagination Pavilion in EPCOT. He’s featured on a purple and pink background alongside a passholder logo with Spaceship Earth in the center rather than Mickey.

The second character featured in the new Annual Passholder designs in Orange Bird. This bird, with an orange shaped head, has been popping up all over the place in recent years. Not only can you find him in Magic Kingdom, but he’s also been a staple at some of the EPCOT festivals in recent years. The pass, which has an orange and green background, features Orange BIrd alongside a Dole Whip. In this case, the passholder logo has been updated to look like an orange.

We think that both of these pass designs are very cute and make the MagicMobile experience just that much more fun. Personally, I couldn’t help myself, I went ahead and changed my pass over to Figment!

This is not the first time that we’ve seen pass designs like this. Other designs for select guests have appeared in the app also. This includes a special design for Disney Vacation Club Members that features a suitcase. These designs are only visible if you’re a Passholder or DVC member.
