More Pre-Shows Return To Walt Disney World
It’s finally happening!
For the first time in what feels like forever we’re getting pre-shows back at Walt Disney World. We started talking about this last week when we noticed that the pre-show for Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway was back, but now a few more have returned. Both the Haunted Mansion at Magic Kingdom and Tower of Terror at Disney’s Hollywood Studios have returned.
Pre-shows at attractions around Walt Disney World have been bypassed unless absolutely necessary [such as with Rise of the Resistance] since the parks reopened last year. This was initially done as a way to keep guest and Cast Members safe while visiting the parks by allowing guests to keep moving rather than having them crowd into enclosed rooms. This did keep things moving quite well, but it also took away a bit from the attraction. After all, without the pre-show some of the story doesn’t get told.
The days of guessing are over though! Now guests can enjoy the doorless chamber that is the stretching room at Haunted Mansion and the Twilight Zone pre-show at Tower of Terror. We’re sure that other pre-shows will be returning soon as well [we’re hoping for Rock’n’Roller Coaster to pop back up soon], but for now we’re just happy to see that these 2 have been added to the list.
Are you excited to see that pre-shows are returning to Walt Disney World? What are you hoping comes back next and what is your favorite pre-show? Join the jamboree and tell us all about it! See you there!
