How To Use The Walt Disney World Park Pass Reservation System
Anyone else out there feel a little intimidated by the new Park Pass Reservation System?
When I first learned that park reservations made through a new system would be necessary I was probably feeling the way you do right now. Look, it can be difficult to adapt to new things and scary when it has to so with your very expensive vacation.
Anyway, I took some time to poke around in the system and quickly learned that it's not that difficult to get the hang of. So today, i’m taking you into the app with me so we can take a look at this together!
Here we go!
Step 1:
Open up My Disney Experience and hit the “+” on the bottom of the home page.
Step 2:
Select “Make A Park Reservation".
Step 3:
When you select “Make A Park Reservation" you will be brought out of the app and into the Walt Disney World website. Here, you will need to log into your Disney account. You will only need to log in once per session.
Step 4:
Once you are logged in, you will be asked to “Create Your Party". You can do this by selecting everyone that will be visiting with you. Be sure you are all linked through My Disney Experience.
Select “Continue" at the bottom of the screen.
Step 5:
Select the date when you would like to make your Park Reservation. You will need to make your reservations one day at a time.
After selecting the day, a list of parks will appear below. There, you can select which park you’d like to make a reservation for.
Step 6:
Once your date and park have been selected, you will be brought to the “Review & Confirm” page. Here, you can look over your selection to make sure it is correct. Once you have, you will need to acknowledge that you accept the terms and conditions as well as the Covid-19 liability waiver.
Once you’ve done that, click “Continue".
You're done!
The next screen will be a confirmation page. This information will also show up in your “My Plans" tab on My Disney Experience.
What if I need to cancel?
Canceling your Park Pass Reservation is just about as easy as making it.
Step 1:
Start by going to “My Plans" in your My Disney Experience app.
Step 2:
Locate the Park Pass Reservation that you’d like to cancel. Then, select it.
Step 3:
Once selected, the Park Pass Reservation will be expanded showing you more information. This includes a “Cancel" button.
