We’re seeing more and more open back up as we make our way into the summer months. This includes a favorite of many families that stay at Walt Disney World Resort hotels during their vacations; arcades.

After having been closed for the last year, arcades around select Walt Disney World Resort hotels are now open for guests to enjoy once again. This includes:

  • Iguana Arcade - Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort

  • Fast Forward Arcade - Disney’s Pop Century Resort

  • Pixel Play Arcade - Disney’s Art of Animation Resort

  • Reel Fun Arcade - Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort

  • Safari So Good Arcade - Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge

  • Pumbaa’s Fun and Games Arcade - Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge

  • Button and Bells Arcade - Disney’s Wilderness Lodge

As with many other things at Walt Disney World that have reopened recently, health and safety protocols are in place to ensure the safety of guests. This includes the requirement that guests wear approved face coverings at all times while in the arcade, maintain physical distancing and wash hands. Signs have also been posted telling guests that only a single player or one travel party should play any one game at a time.

If you’ve planning to best your family member during your next Walt Disney World vacation, be sure to take a moment and check My Disney Experience before you lay on the smack talk. There you’ll be able to find the hours of operation for the arcade at your Resort hotel and confirm that it’s open, as there are a number which remain closed. Of course, be sure to stay tuned right here to find out more about everything that’s reopening at Walt Disney World in the future.

Are you a fan of playing at the arcade during your trips to Walt Disney World? Tell us all about it by joining the Jamboree! There, in the 2 Foolish Mortals Facebook group, we talk about Disney and our past experiences. Materialize over there and tell us all about your favorite games, high scores and training strategies. . . . ‘cause some of us need all the help we can get! See you there!
