Walt Disney World Transportation Pocket Guide
When it comes to getting around the Walt Disney World Resort, you have quite a few options available to you. Of course, there is Walt Disney World Transportation; a free option that can get you wherever it is you want to go. You can also opt for using a rideshare service, which will come at an additional cost. While both Walt Disney World Transportation and rideshare services will get you where you want to go, there are a few more things you should know if you’re planning on doing a lot of exploring around the Walt Disney World Resort.
There is a lot to talk about when it comes to getting around the Walt Disney World Resort and we’ve been spending a lot of time doing just that both here on the website and on the 2 Foolish Mortals Channel. We’ve spent some time in the past few weeks covering the importance of understanding what you’re getting yourself into if taking a rideshare to Magic Kingdom and even what you need to know about getting around if you’re staying at the Walt Disney World Swan & Dolphin. But today I wanted to take some time to share information about getting around the Walt Disney World Resort in a way you might not have considered.
Most of the time, when we think about getting around the Walt Disney World Resort, we’re somewhat narrow minded. Whether we’re unfamiliar with the layout of the Walt Disney World Resort or are just set in our ways, we tend to think about getting around using the very specific channels that are available to us. . . . but there are more options available if you know where to look. Today, I wanted to help those of you who might be interested explore some of those options in a way that is easy to understand; which is why I made a pocket guide.
In this pocket guide, which you’re free to screenshot or download, we’ve listed a number of different ways to get to all 4 of the Walt Disney World theme parks as well as Disney Springs. We’ve also added some helpful reminders! You’ll notice that this pocket guide doesn’t focus on all forms of transportation. We don’t mention that you can take a bus from almost every resort to almost every park. [There are some exceptions to this. For example, there is no EPCOT bus from EPCOT area resorts.] This is because the purpose of this guide is to help you find alternatives to what you’re likely already familiar with.
Of course, not every option outlined in our Transportation Pocket Guide is going to be right for everyone. It really depends on what it is you’re doing, who you’re with and where you’re going. That said, if you find yourself trying to get around and looking for a new and interesting way to do it, we think that this might be a good tool for you.
We hope that you find this tool as well as our previous discussions about transportation at the Walt Disney World Resort useful. As always, we’d love to hear what you have to say! Join the Jamboree and share your thoughts, suggestions and your favorite ways to get around Walt Disney World with Foolish Mortals and Happy Haunts like yourself! We’ll see you over there!
