EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival Starts This Week

I hope you’re hungry, because the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival kicks off this week at Walt Disney World! The festival, which starts July 15th and will run through November 20th, is bound to be yet another fan favorite with delicious food and drink to sample from around the world.

Like in years past, this year’s EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival will kick off with Global Marketplaces with familiar booths making a return including Canada, Greece, Germany, Hops and Barley and Appleseed Orchard. As the festival progresses, more Global Marketplaces will be added, allowing the festival to expand all the way to its conclusion in November.

There are lots of fun activities planned for families as well, including Emile’s Fromage Montage, Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak and lots of live performances from Voices of Liberty, Mariachi Cobre and the Jammin’ Chefs.

With this being the first full festival, rather than the “taste of” festivals we’ve seen in the past year, we’re looking forward to seeing what the event has in store. We’re hoping for some interesting new dishes as well as cute new merchandise. As always, we’ll be sure to keep you in the loop and share the information we know about the festival as soon as we know it. We’re also excited to announce that 2 Foolish Mortals [yes. . . both of us] will be heading to the festival this year to check it out and we’re taking you along with us!
