Fireworks RETURN To Walt Disney World This July

The announcement we’ve all been waiting for has finally been made; nighttime spectaculars are coming BACK!

After what has felt like forever, guests visiting Walt Disney World will have the opportunity to look to the skies once again and enjoy a memorable end to their magical day. Starting July 1st, guests will have the opportunity to enjoy nightly fireworks displays at both Magic Kingdom and EPCOT.

At Disney’s Magic Kingdom, guests can watch Cinderella Castle transform to tell memorable moments from Disney favorites with Happily Ever After. This is a stunning show that will definitely be one of the many highlights to your Disney day. Over at EPCOT, in the World Showcase Lagoon, guests can enjoy EPCOT Forever. This show, which took the place of Illuminations: Reflections of Earth in 2019, is a celebration of all things EPCOT.

This news is something we anticipated would be coming down the pipe soon, with July 4th right around the corner, but it still pulled on our heartstrings to see the actual announcement. Fireworks are such an iconic part of the Walt Disney World experience; there’s just something about such a larger than life display put to such amazing music. . . . gets us every time! We often talk about how good it feels for even the smallest things to return to normal, this feels monumental!

Information about showtimes has not yet been released, but we anticipate it will be available soon on the My Disney Experience app.

How to you feel about the return of nighttime spectaculars at Walt Disney World? Are you excited? We’d love if you’d join the 2 Foolish Mortals Jamboree and tell us all about it. While you’re there, let us know what your favorite nighttime spectacular is, or was, and why! See you there!
