Disney Valentines For A Dollar
Valentine’s Day is right around the corner! For many, myself included, this is the time of year to share the love with cards and treats. It’s also a time of year to browse the shelves of fun, quirky and Disney themed gifts at our favorite shops. Last month, we talked about some of the really cool Mandalorian Valentines that I saw at my local Target, but today we’ve spotted some fun options at an entirely different place; Dollar Tree.
Dollar Tree, as the name suggests, is a dollar store that has thousands of locations nationwide. Like other dollar store chains, they have a mix of different items that changes out regularly and with the seasons. Though they can be hit or miss, Dollar Tree is a great place to grab some basic essentials at affordable prices both day to day or for your Disney vacation. We’ll talk more about vacation specific items in the future, so be sure to check back for more about that.
Today being February 2nd, my local Dollar Tree is filled with lots of fun Valentine’s Day items. Among them, a good amount of Disney items to choose from.

The first thing to catch my eye were the boxes of valentines. These are the sharable Valentine’s Day cards that most school aged children share with classmates and friends. The selection included Mickey and Minnie cards with candy, Disney Princess puzzle cards and even Elena Avalor. We also saw some boxes of Frozen cards as well.

Of course, this year may seem a little bit different than years past for many school age children around the United States. With so many still taking their classes from home, sharing cards with classmates and friends might not be possible [or permitted in some cases]. That doesn’t mean that they can’t have a special treat waiting on their desk for them! Aside from the boxes of valentines, Dollar Tree also had a decent selection of chocolate hearts featuring different fun phrases and characters. Naturally, it was Minnie Mouse that stood out to me, but there were definitely more to choose from.

We’ve taken a quick look at some of the Disney specific Valentine’s Day merchandise at this particular Dollar Tree, but the list of budget Valentine’s Day options don’t end here. There are decorations, plushies, candies and other fun items to choose from. Honestly, with a little bit of creativity and less than $20.00 you could end up with a pretty sweet gift for the one you love!
